Pendylum’s eBusiness Engine not only calculates overtime, double time, shift premiums and different rates of pay, it also distinguishes and manages multiple union agreements, non- unionized employee rules, calculations of vacation, sick, and other leave banks.
Through the application of defined rules, time worked is converted into time paid, all appropriate accumulators are updated and employees are moved through pay scales, automatically applying step and wage increases.
All rules and regulations related to employee entitlements (vacation, sick leave, bereavement, seniority displacements, etc.) are captured and processed by the eBusiness Engine. Specific Client Rules can be assigned to a location, group or even on an individual employee basis, allowing automatic calculation of direct and indirect labour rates. Pendylum’s eBusiness Engine enables the transfer of rules, company policies and/or union contracts into an easy to use, easy to manage integrated application.
